  22. country,awindycountry,alongcountry,apollutedcountry.Tobe
  23. precise,shedidn'tlivefarfromthe(un)knowngroupthatcarriedaname
  24. offourletterswithfourpunctuationmarksandwaspronounced"ouch".Of
  25. course,shedidn'tknowtheexistenceofanSTgroupcalledO.U.C.H.,and
  26. shedidn'tknowthatitwasnearby.Ofcoursenot.ShehadaC64herself.
  27.    Once,oneofthemembersofthisgrouphadabadexperience.He
  28. accidentallyfellinlovewithher,withoutevenknowingher.Sincehis
  29. modestystillwashangingaround,andhestillwascuttinghishair,he

  31. aclassparalleltohisownclass,andthereshouldbeenoughofreasons
  32. tosuddenlygettoknowher.
  33.    Buthewasagoodprogrammer,andhehadrecentlydiscoveredhis
  34. talentasapoet.Well,hewasn'texactlytalented,oratleasthedidn't
  35. thinksohimself,buthehadalotofpractice,andknewhowtoputthe
  36. rightwordstogether.Whenitcametoliterature,hepreferredwriting
  37. shortstories.Butthesetooktimetowrite.Alotmoretimethanhehad
  38. ifhewantedtosendashortstorytohereveryday.Instead,hesenta
  39. poemtohereveryday.Sometimes,herfirstnamecouldbereadasthe
  40. firstlettersofeachline.
  41.    Theseletterswereanonymous,andlittleisknowofwhatthisfemale
  42. thoughtofthesepoems.
  43.    Theannualchristmasballoftheschoolclosedin,andaletter
  44. revealedhisidentity,somethinghewouldregretbitterlyafterwards.
  45.    Thepartoftheballwhenthesixth-formersperformed,hespent
  46. recordingthiseventonvideosothatheandanotherinthegroup,who
  47. happenedtobeasixth-formerthatyear,couldedititandsellthe
  48. editedstuff.Themaincharacterinthisstorywoulddomostofthe
  49. cameraandmakethescrolltextprogramme.

  60. informationcouldtellhimthesamething.Hewasalsotoldthatshe
  61. likeddrinkingalot,buthecouldn'tdecideifhelikedthatornot.

  63. himself.Ontheotherside,heworriedabouther.Ifshehadproblems,he
  64. wantedtohelpherout.

  66. Çmind,butquiteawhilelater,heobservedthatshesometimeswas
  67. observinghim,andsincehestillwassingleandfeltverylonely,hewas
  68. hopingthatperhapssomethinghadchanged.

  74. 800-somethingkilobytes),hedecidedtoprintallhehadwrittenabout
  75. her(2-300kilobytes)andgiveittoher.He"mailed"itinherschool
  76. bagatwhathethoughwouldbeagoodtimetodoso.Unfortunately,she
  77. wouldroundthecorneronlyafewsecondslater,soheaccidentally
  78. droppedhispen-caseinherbag(oratleastthatiswhathebelievedwas
  79. whathappened).
  80.    Then...nothinghappened.
  81.    Afterawhile,hemanagedtosuppressalsothis,andhefellinlove
  82. withanotherfemaleandbrokehispersonality.Thistime,however,the
  83. girlfriendofthefemalethisstoryisaboutgavetheboyadanceto
  84. comforthim.Thiswouldprovetobethefirstdanceheeverhadhadwith
  85. afemale,whichwouldexplainwhyheusuallyfeltdepressed.
